Here are some key dates for voting this year in North Carolina:

Oct. 14 – Voter registration deadline (learn about registering to vote)
Oct. 20 – Early voting and same-day registration begin
Nov. 1 – Last day to request an absentee by mail ballot (learn more)
Nov. 5 – Early voting ends
Nov. 8 – ELECTION DAY (Polls open 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
